In a hurry
Filled with what
I do not know
Yet it wants to burst out free.

You won the prize for the shot list, awesome.
I don’t know what the shot list is… but cool.
Four lines of brilliance! Thank you.
You are kind.
So simple, but so effective, and I feel that way often. This is probably my favourite of yours.
Well I am flattered that someone would have read enough of my poetry to even consider themselves to have a favourite in the first place. Cheers.
And I never would have guessed that this would be someone’s favourite.
I think it sums up much of what people feel sometimes. Also, I like that it says so much with so little. For me, that’s the appeal. And you do that well. I, on the other hand, ramble on (and on and on) and tend to “oversay”. But again, there’s a quiet resolve to many of your poems that pack a real punch. If you’re able to do that with very few words- it’s a beautiful thing.
Love it Your simplicity always amazes me… I’m envious… LOL
