I Read Your Poem

I read your poem.
And then
I looked
at my own chicken-scratchings of pain
And my obvious
need
For humour
Because I just
can’t
live
here and now.
The profundity of experience
That you spoke of
makes me feel
so small.
Very
very
small.
I hide in obscurity
And wrestle with
My own stubborn heart
That claims every sin
as its own
to avoid
its real
pain.
I cannot pause
and cannot stop
for fear
of God
for fear
of what
He
will do
to heal me.
I read your poem.

  1. This is Great–and my prayer for you is simple: I don’t want you to fear God anymore, or what He will do to heal you. I Promise you, from my own experience, that He is a good, gently teaching/healing/loving God! I don’t know whose poem you read, but if it made you feel “small”, that’s not good–so I hope it wasn’t mine… But seriously, and I don’t mean to preach, please reach out to the God Who IS (the Great I AM)–Father Son and Holy Spirit. Let Him embrace you, clean up any messes in your life for you, and comfort and heal you. It’s not hard–He’ll do all the work, I promise! I love you and want you to be happy–and better than that, HE Loves You!!! He’s stretching His big hands down to you Right Now. Keep me posted….

  2. i think we choose our own path in life and we make our own mistakes bad deeds make bad deeds back to us good deeds and positive acts makes us better people thoughtful post xxjen
