To Planaquarium,

And one day you stopped posting
It hasn’t been the same
No offense to us
but…
you were just plain better at this
I found some other poets
But…
You know I really wish
That I could buy
your book
You know,
the one that probably
doesn’t exist
or does
with your real
name–
and so I’ll never find it.

But I will look
And hope each day
For that Cardigan kind of love
to be in my heart
And that wondered sense of worship
to be
part of who
I become
And of course
I will dream
of
your
control of
rhythm.

I wish I could write you
Some fitting tribute
but my clumsy words
are no such thing.

You captured my soul
with words
And I waited for every
Poem
I miss them now.
I hope you are well.
