Such pretty eyes
The ones I saw
The ones that kindled fire
To have my spirit near her spirit
This was gentle rain
There is something
Just so right
About the beauty of the eyes
Spirits take to wingless flight
Soaring in eternal skies.

nice poem~
Thank you.
wow this one just flowed so effortlessly…the words just glide and fit so well together.
“Spirits take to wingless flight
Soaring in eternal skies.”
-breathtaking imagery =)
I’ve always found it interesting how difficult it is to describe the flow of a poem… and yet it is so important…
It has been said that looking deeply into another’s eyes allows us to look into their souls! I could not help but think of this proposition when reading this very uplifting poem, full of promise.
The eyes do have a hard time lying, don’t they?
Nicely done! showing some good passion there!
Cheers.
Oh! I like this one! Very romantic! Oh la la! 🙂
Well I am nothing, if not romantic.
