“Forgive them Lord,
for they know not what they do.”
I think I speak for all of us
When I say
That we wish we could say this of ourselves
more often
But,
we often do
know
what we do.
And we still do it.
I think we all find it hard
To forgive our enemies
and ourselves.
But without forgiveness
Where would we go?
What would there be left?
Nothing.
Amen, and what a wonderful message my friend…God bless!
Thank you Wendell.
We humans do tend to put ourselves above God, God who forgives us all our sins, and we can not find it in our hearts to forgive ourselves perceived sins from third grade. If we can’t move beyond that…
Indeed.
Forgiveness is the core of humaneness. Your words are thought provoking. Thank you
That is a strange thing to say. If you are right it certainly is a truth hidden from most of us… I may have to consider that myself (speaking of thought-provoking).
