The Ship That Sails Us Through This Sea

Time which waits never once
And never takes a break
Does not heal and does not kill
And does not care at all.

People make what they have done
And look for writing on the wall
But far too late they see the sun
And time will never stall.

You could wait if you so wished
But time won’t wait for you
And life is over soon enough
You best get on and through.

Time and Place

Swinging up and down
Back and forth they bounce
Hypnotized I lose myself
And wonder where I am.

The cold is in the air
The dark is in the night
The evil rests inside
And hopefully the light.

The moon it silhouettes
My eyes transfixed I watch
Gazing at the hand of God
His work so fearful now.
